The Bruce Lynton Group 2006

The first half of 2006 saw a new era for the Bruce Lynton Group with the opening of our new Premium Selection Used BMW Dealership at 80 High Street, Southport. This was capped off with the launch of the new Bruce Lynton stand-alone MINI Showroom opened in August 2006 next door to the Premium Selection dealership at 80 High Street.

We are very pleased to announce that the 2006 6th annual Bruce Lynton Charity Ball was an even bigger success than previous years with total funds raised on the night surpassing $220, 000.

2006 also saw the BMW 3 Series Sedan voted ‘World Car of the Year’ in April by an independent panel of judges at the New York motor show. The BMW 3 Series was praised for setting the benchmark in its class.

MINI also had a big year in 2006 with many accolades and awards. For the second time Bruce Lynton team won the MINI World Challenge, scoring almost 100% in the product knowledge category. The team, in recognition for their achievement, travelled to Amsterdam and Vienna in June 2006.

Bruce Lynton MINI Garage was also announced winner of the 2006 MINI Excellence Awards. This is considered the highest accolade for a MINI Dealership in Australia.
