The Bruce Lynton Group 2002

2002 was a milestone year of success for the Bruce Lynton Group. Both Bruce Lynton BMW and Bruce Lynton Land Rover became the recipients of the premier national award for their respective marques. In February, Bruce Lynton BMW was announced the winner of the 2001 BMW Dealer Trophy and in March Bruce Lynton Land Rover was announced the winner of the 2001 Land Rover Retailer of the Year. Both of these national awards being won for the second time.

The annual Bruce Lynton Charity Ball held in June 2002 was also a wonderful success with substantial increases in attendance and profits. The 2002 event raised the stakes from the 2001 and brought the running proceeds raised from both events to in excess of $100,000.00.

Late in 2002, the Bruce Lynton Group commenced its next major project, yet another expansion to the Bruce Lynton BMW dealership. This project, completed in September 2003 saw the Nerang Street site extended over the two eastern properties. The new building includes an extended new cars showroom, an extended MINI Garage showroom, and a new used car showroom. Extensions to the service workshop, parts department and customer parking areas have increased customer service levels along with the installation of an in-house café, outside garden area, customer business centre and lounge, and two golf driving nets. The new facility also includes the addition of a number of sales desks and administrative offices, which accommodate the continually expanding team of staff.
